Your beginner makeup routine

Application order

1. PrepStart with your usual skin preparation. Let it settle for a few minutes before applying makeup.
2. BaseApply a thin layer of foundation or skin tint, moving from the center outward. Blend at the hairline and jaw.
3. ConcealerAdd a small amount only where you want more coverage, then pat the edges to blend.
4. CheeksTap on cream blush and blend upward. Add a little bronzer if you use it.
5. PowderPress on a little powder around the forehead, nose and chin, and under the eyes as needed.
6. BrowsFill gaps with short strokes, then brush the brow hairs upward.
7. Eyeshadow · optionalBlend one neutral shade over the lid. You can leave this step out and go straight to mascara.
8. MascaraMove the wand gently at the lash roots, then draw it through toward the tips.
9. LipsFinish with a lipstick or tinted balm you like.
